Rewards List of Bible Verses
Did You Know that You Are Actually Commanded to Earn Heavenly Rewards?
Most of us want to do the right thing because it’s the right thing to do. Respecting, Obeying, believing Jesus and what He says is the right thing to do. But most Christians these days have been confused by strange denominational doctrines, or the twisting of those doctrines or the heavy deception of the World these days and don’t even know that Jesus gives commands, much less that they need to obey each and every command of Jesus AND put those commands into habit!
Shockingly, most people who consider themselves to be Christians don’t pay attention to Jesus words much at all. Is this their fault? Well I can tell you this much having grown up two primary denominations: Jesus Words tend to be treated as “nice sayings” for someone else, or “just the Jews around Him at that time”; they treat Jesus words as optional good things to do at best. I’m sure most would agree that they see the same thing. But…
How can that be the case where we are supposed to ignore Jesus words? It doesn’t make sense especially as Jesus warned us over and over to obey His commands.
Some even think that the Apostles are saying something different than Jesus. They think that Acts and after is a different period where Jesus Words are not to be regarded as something to which we need to adhere. For those who KNOW the Word well by reading the Bible over and over in volume can understand that the apostles are not saying something different but are expounding on the Commands of Jesus, as they were ordered to do in the “Great Commission” just before Jesus ascended into Heaven.
Jesus has given us many many commands in the Gospel books. Even before He departs in Matthew 28 he tells the disciples two primary directives: 1. to baptize in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit (which implies belief first for you can’t get baptized unless you believe) and 2. teaching men to obey the Commands he has taught them.
The 2nd primary directive is to teach the next generation of believers to obey the commands! And if the next generation is taught that they need to obey the commands of Jesus then they need to also follow Mathew 28:19-20 and teach the generation after them to obey the commands of Jesus. (Here is a list of 1050 Commands of Jesus )
Remember the hymn “Trust and Obey for there’s no other way to be happy in Jesus but to trust and obey…” ?
Understand this– I’ll give you a tip: The commands of Jesus actually transform you into becoming holy. The commands transform you when you install the commands into your being by believing them and making them a habit (this is the eating Jesus flesh and drinking Jesus blood Jesus is talking about! It’s the assimilation of the Word of God, Who is Jesus!). When you put Jesus commands into practice they become a habit. In order to have a habit you must believe that thing to do is good (a habit needs a reward association). Once you find the reward of the Lord, by His joy and awesome filling when you obey (plus other blessings too) you will believe obeying Jesus command is good!
Therefore when you believe Jesus words, that His commands are good you ultimately believe in Jesus!
If you believe in someone you believe in what they say. Plus following Jesus means that you follow what He says and you do what He says.(It’s not some special feeling of following that people seem to think of these days… it’s actually doing what Jesus says because if you believe in Jesus he’ll do what he says.)
You’ll find out as you start to install the commands of Jesus that you start uninstall the opposite sin belief. What’s a sin belief? It’s a belief that you think a sin is good or okay to do which comes from programming of the world (Satan’s doctrine).
Additionally there are many severe warnings as well for those who do not do what Jesus says. And the emphasis often has a mention of “he that has ears to hear let him hear”.
Also these days we have many Heaven and Hell visitations testimonies that’s pretty much all say the same thing: they say that we will be held accountable for every one of Jesus words whether we obeyed them or not, as hard were seemingly impossible as they may seem to some. Check out a bunch of these videos here.
Yet Jesus is teaching also contain many instructions on how to obtain rewards. Jesus gives the success formulas. We can obtain great blessings by doing what Jesus says as well. In fact we are even commanded to pursue heavenly riches, for where our treasure is so will our heart be.
19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
Notice Jesus doesn’t say “it would be nice if you thought about doing what I said because if you do you’ll gain treasures in Heaven…” NO Jesus says Lay not …. But lay up… These are orders. These are commands. If you have said the center’s prayer and confess Jesus is Lord, then he is your Master (as in Master to Slave), your Lord, Ruler of Life, your total Boss – and when Jesus says something we better do it!
