This morning the Spirit of God laid these words in my heart and i will love to share them with you. Jesus said in John 17:17;Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. The word of God is the truth about your life, about your health, your experiences, your finances, your family etc. On the other hand, the Bible tells us that Satan is the father of lies. That means whatever proceeds from his mouth is a lie. Any information, any report, any thought that you receive that is contrary to the word of God emanated from the devil and it is a lie.

What is a lie? A lie can simply be defined as anything that is false or untrue. Again a lie can be defined as an aberration or deviation from the truth. So when in the law courts, one is made is promise to tell the ‘whole truth’ and nothing but the truth, it makes us realize that anything that’s not the whole truth can be viewed as a lie.

As God’s child, the word of God describes perfectly who God has made you. The word is replete with the make-up and the kind of life that God has prepared for you. The Bible tells us that we are His workmanship, recreated in Christ Jesus to take paths that he has made for us before the world began.

Every report, information and tale must be mirrored with the word of God. Any information you receive is either consistent with the word of God or it is not. If it is not consistent with the word of God then you know it’s a lie because Jesus told us that God’s word is truth and if it is a lie, you know the source- it came from the devil; the enemy himself.

Have you dumped God’s word to embrace a lie from the devil? Have you ignored that God’s truth said you are healthy and strong and have embraced the lie of the enemy that you are weak and are dying soon? Have you ignored the truth of God’s word that Christ was made poor that you might become rich and have embraced the lie of the devil that all you will do on earth is to struggle in your finances?

The Bible says that a man believes with his heart (also known as Spirit) and whatever this belief is, becomes real in his life. That is why God says we must guard our hearts with all diligence for out of it are the issues of life. in other words, your life is in your heart. What have you believed? What have you endorsed in your heart?

Your life is a reflection of your belief. What have you believed today? Is it God’s truth or the lie of the devil?
